I’ve got a couple of posts back here I’ve been working on for a while, but they’re still not ready. So, to keep both of the readers satiated, here’s the latest NDW stuff I’ve picked up.
According to the “critics” these guys were “militant leftists”, but who gives a shit? They had an interesting sense of humor (Moon of Alabama), a killer sense of style (Türkenblues) and I can’t understand 95% of the things they’re saying.
And more importantly, it’s “totally fucking danceable!”
First, their first EP. Computerstaat, 1979.

Computerstaat
Japan
Moon of Alabama
Wir Warten
Nach Haus
and a few from their 1980, debut full-length, Amok Koma

Maschinen Land
Bel Ami
Türkenblues
Japan - Live (1979)
