WRITING A POST
Login
once you are logged in you should see 3 horizontal bands across the top, in the middle one click on the Write link, now click the Write Post link in the bottom of the 3 bands

Enter a Title and type your Post. the bar at the top of the post content window can help you with formatting, adding links, and inserting images if you are unfamiliar with html. you can change the size of the post content window by click-dragging the lower right corner where the diagonal lines appear. Pressing Enter or Return will drop you down 2 lines, holding shift while pressing them will drop you down 1 line

ADDING IMAGES
1. use the Upload form below where you write your post to upload images to the server.
2. once you have uploaded images you can click the Browse All tab and either Drag-and-drop images into the are you type your post content;
- or your can click and image in the Browse All and choose Send to editor to have the image added at the current cursor location in the post contents;
- or if you know the web address to the image you want to use you can click the Insert/edit image button, the one with the tree icon on it (or you can press control and m at the same time), then just type in the web address, a description (if you wish), and choose and alignment (if you wish); if the image comes in too big or too small you can then click the image in the post content area and use the little white box at the corners to resize it, but make sure you hold down the shift key while doing so, otherwise you might accidentally change the dimensions of the image.

ADDING LINKS
type the name of the link and select it, then click the link button at the top of the post content area (the one that looks like a chain link)
enter the web address in the URL area, choose open link in a new window (under most circumstances), and enter a title for the link (if you wish), the title is what shows up when you hover over a link not the actual text you click on.
