Oh my God!, I've looked for it for years and years, and thanks to you, Cadet, at last I got.
If anyone is interest, you can convert the tracks with TVC into mp3 and then split themwith Sound Forge.

God Bless you.

I have to agree with Blynch - THANK YOU very much for making this album available! I remember listening to it as a kid (my big sister had the album)and coming across your copy of this very hard to find album is a beautiful surprise. Thanks for making this album available to us! I only wish that Kenny Rogers would publish it again to CD!

"Мои любимые песни" means "My Favorite Songs". To be honest, this area of our (Western rock music fans from Russia) own national muz-heritage appears now to be something fresh and newly discovered, despite hearing all those song every day on the radio years ago. Thanx!

it's in .mov because I recorded it directly from the LP as one big .aif directly into quicktime (because that's all I know how to record directly into) and because I don't really know anything about sound editing software (i use an analog 2-track and equalizer) it was easiest for me to just use quicktime to cut it into pieces and when I saved them it just made .mov files. If you get info on the files you'll see they're just AAC audio in a .mov container. you should be able to drop them into itunes or whatever and have them play like normal audio files. or if you're into it, you should be able to easily re-wrap the files in a .m4a container (i just did exactly that with quicktime - choose export -> movie to mpeg-4 -> in the options set the audio to pass-through -> change the filename to have .m4a instead of .mp4 -> save). either way you definitely do not want to just change the extension to .mp3.

It is nothing but sadness when I here a tune from Gram, It reminds me of the greatest loss in country music greater then Hank himself. It also has a reminder of my suddent esculated hatrid for drugs and there dealers when I hear of his death from an overdose. He WAS thee insperation for me to play a pedal steel guitar and play one well. He was in my opinion the wind beneat Emmy Lou's wings and had a way of penatrating the souls of other musiccians, greatly influencing their "Style" of playing.
Anyone touched by Gram's spirit shows a southwestern style in their music and especially lyrics.

the whole jet generation lp is pretty hot. it was a tough choice which summertime blues to grab; the jet generation version is way <a href="/music/summertime-blues-jet-gen.mp3" title="Summertime Blues" type="audio/mpeg" rel="nofollow">heavier</a>, but the live version is way louder.

you ever seen the couple of movies <a href="http://imdb.com/title/tt0972402/" title="Rock 'n Tokyo" rel="reference" rel="nofollow">they're</a> <a href="http://imdb.com/title/tt0267116/" title="Wild Zero" rel="reference" rel="nofollow">in</a> (the latter apparently features guitar wolf as zombie slaying rock'n'roll badasses, sounds like a must-see)

it'll take a day or two to pile it all in one stack - the music is a shambles as usual. then i figure i'll just post it to the vslam ftp (you still have the info? if not email me through the info {at} vslam address). i'll drop you a line to let you know when it's ready (the google mail address you're listed with at vslam).

so when is the glorious return to vslamming going to happen? i feel so alone here.

Yes-yes! If your readers are intrigued, they should swing by the Mutant Sounds blog, where several post-Homosexuals projects, including the Brillians cassette, went up last week. Wild, ghastly stuff, but with big moments. Cheers, once again.

I share your affection for this album - Thank you SO MUCH for posting it. Aside from the sentimental value it has for me it really is an amazingly well produced album and some great songwriting.

yeah, it's one of those things I forget about for years at a time and then find it and fall in love all over again. there are a handful of albums prior to this one that I remember my parents listening to when I was a kid that I reallly should just steal next time I'm down Texas way.

if you or anyone else wants to post just let me know and we can work it out, the offline server business really is only going to affect the links to previously posted music files; which isn't ideal, but obviously isn't the end of the world either. the site itself will still be here which means there are alternate places to post the songs.

we come prepared.

We need more blues posts; especially with blind bluesmen. And yeah, that Internet Explorer shit at the top was gross, I figured if no one had posted by today then I'd have to do it just to get that crap off the top (think I'm just going to delete it and go back to 100% not caring about those people).

Hope you feel better soon.
